"In a dimension close to our world exists another, quite dark world, on it grow a lot of trees with dark almost black trunks and black leaves, they had glass like fruits with black mist in them, whenever a creature in our world would be born, a fruit falls to the ground and a shadow would form, shaped like the creature that was born, this shadow then traveled through a portal to the creature and would connect to it, giving the creature the last piece of its soul.

Among the trees though lived a being, a colorful creature with a glowing yellow heart, it's said that it's the guide that leads every shadow to the portal, though no one knows for sure because no one was ever in that other dimension to see it"- a story written in an old book about myths and legends.
